DESCRIPTION:Militarised violence against Palestinians is a central feature 
 of Israel’s regime of settler-colonialism\, occupation and apartheid.\nI
 srael’s current far-right government has continued its attacks on Palest
 inians. In the first 3 months of 2023 alone almost 90 Palestinians were ki
 lled by Israeli armed forces.\n\nThe violence we are witnessing today\, an
 d the historical violence that has left generations of Palestinians dispos
 sessed and traumatised\, is made possible because of the complicity of cor
 porations and financial institutions\, including Barclays Bank.\nOur resea
 rch has uncovered that Barclays invests over £1billion in companies suppl
 ying weapons to Israel. This includes Elbit Systems\, which produces milit
 ary technology\, surveillance systems\, and military drones – used to br
 utalise Palestinians in Israel’s regular attacks\, including its repeate
 d bombardments of the Gaza Strip.\n\nThe Palestinian people are standing s
 trong in the face of this horrific violence\, but they need our solidarity
 . Palestinians have called on people of conscience around the world to tak
 e action to end the complicity of financial institutions who support the v
 iolence perpetrated against them.\n\nJoin Palestine Solidarity Campaign\, 
 War on Want and CAAT to protest at Barclays Annual General Meeting in Lond
 on. Together\, we’ll demand that Barclays stops supporting Israel’s mi
