Join Campaign Against Arms Trade at 10 Downing Street as we hand in their open letter asking the new Prime Minister to Stop Arming Saudi Arabia and stand in solidarity with Yemen. If you haven’t had the chance to sign their letter so far, you can now by following this link
The UK government is complicit in the devastation we are seeing in Yemen. It is UK weapons that are being sold to the Saudi-led coalition to commit war crimes upon thousands of innocent civilians, targeting weddings, school buses and homes, as well as contributing to the worlds worst humanitarian crisis. We will be at 10 Downing Street to take a stand and show solidarity with Yemen.
We will be hearing from Andrew Feinstein, author of Shadow world, and Founding Director of Shadow World Investigations (formerly Corruption Watch), an NGO that undertakes path-breaking investigations into cases of grand corruption, corporate malfeasance and militarism, predominantly but not exclusively in the global arms trade.
There will also be speakers from the team at Campaign Against the Arms Trade!
We hope many of you can join us in taking a stand against these war crimes and demand that our new Prime Minister strives to support a better future for Yemen. We look forward to seeing you there!
