SUMMARY:Stop Arming Saudi: Vigil for Yemen
DESCRIPTION:March 26th marks eight years since the Saudi-led coalition star
 ted their brutal assault on Yemen. In that time\, thousands of Yemeni civi
 lians have been killed by Saudi bombs. The UN estimates that 377\,000 war 
 related deaths occurred by the end of 2021\, including 12\,000 civilians i
 n directly targeted attacks. In total the UK has supplied at least £23 bi
 llion worth of arms to the Saudi-led coalition attacking Yemen. The war in
  Yemen has caused one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world.\n\nJo
 in us at 12pm on Sunday March 26th outside Downing Street to stand in soli
 darity with the people of Yemen and commemorate all the lives unnecessaril
 y lost in this brutal war.\n\nWe will also hear from speakers (tbc) about 
 the dreadful situation in Yemen and the UK’s complicity in the war on Ye
 men.
