DESCRIPTION:Join London Campaign Against Arms Trade for a launch of their n
 ew film on the UK government and the UK arms industry's involvement in and
  around the Syrian Civil war. It critically tracks the UK government's iss
 uing of chemical licences to companies selling  to Bashar al Assad\, who w
 ould go on to gas Syrians. It then examines arms sales to Recep Tayyip Erd
 oğan\, whose border guards shoot at and kill Syrians trying to flee and i
 s accused of ethnic cleansing of the Kurdish population. Finally\, it look
 s at how the UK choses to support a policy of militarised borders in Leban
 on and Jordan which has made it even harder for Syrians to escape.\n\nWe w
 ill show the film and then hear from Matt Broomfield (freelance journalist
  and co-founder of the Rojava Information Centre) and Les Levidow from the
  Peace in Kurdistan Campaign for a political solution of the Kurdish Quest
