DESCRIPTION:26th March 2022 marks the seventh anniversary of the war in Yem
 en. The UK has sold over £20 billion worth of arms to the Coalition since
  airstrikes began in 2015. CAAT is hosting a MP Lobby Day for Yemen on 10t
 h March.\n\nLobby your MP for Yemen on 10th March\nNext month sees the sev
 enth anniversary of the war in Yemen\, which began on 26th March 2015.\n\n
 It is a war that has been fuelled by British arms exports\, with sales wor
 th more than £20 billion made to the Saudi-led coalition. It is also a wa
 r that has claimed over 377\,000 lives. Last month\, the Saudi-led coaliti
 on bombed a prison killing over 80 civilians\, without a word of condemnat
 ion from the UK government. \n\nThe UK government must stop enabling this 
 war\, end arms sales\, and make serious efforts to bring the war to an end
  and promote accountability for atrocities committed by all sides.\n\nOn 1
 0th March\, CAAT is asking friends and supporters to lobby their MPs for Y
 emen. If you would like to take part in this Lobby Day\, please go to this

 en now and then CAAT will send you a briefing pack. There will also be an 
 optional online training session to help you make the most of this meeting
 .\n\nAfter you write to your MP you will be asked to fill in an online for
 m so CAAT can track which MPs have been contacted.\n\nCAAT has published a
  briefing 'Seven Years of War'\, to inform both supporters and MPs for the
  Lobby day on 10th March.\n\nLet's work together to stop these deadly arms
  exports\, end the war in Yemen and ensure all those complicit in the deat
 h and destruction caused by the war are held accountable.
